“Rules are rules: We are three weeks into self isolation and it’s really upsetting me to witness Mom standing at the living room window gazing aimlessly into space, with tears running down her cheeks. It breaks my heart to see her like this, and I’ve thought very hard of how I can cheer her up. I’ve even considered letting her come in, but rules are rules.”

Not in Michigan. We just had some snow and after a week of 50-60 degree weather we have a high of 40 for the next week.

My parents are isolating at my older sisters place. I go to drop stuff off. My dad comes and walks right up to me. My sister an mom get pissed off, “this is why you’re not allowed out”

Just because you wish you were born in wisconsin, doesn’t give you a right to hate us cause we’re beautiful. Enjoy your cheese curds and packers football. I’ll still visit Houghton in February before setting foot in Columbus in November...
“You know what? Fuck Ohio! ” is really the unifying cry of Michigan.

First off, I’ll never wish I was born in Wisconsin. My hatred of the Packers is only surpassed by Ohio State.
Secondly, indeed. Fuck Ohio.

I talk to them a few times a week, and email and text in between those times.
You did get the joke, right?
